UPDATE for this year, the series will no longer be the NC State Championship, this honor will take place at the Riverfront Classic being held at the US Whitewater Center on May 19th. With this change we are also announcing that series was now awarded Regional Championship status. All races within the Southern Classic Regional Championship will also be qualifiers for the USAC Nationals taking place at Bear Creek Resort in Macungie, PA. The South Carolina State Championshps will still consist of the 3 races starting with the Killer 3 MTB Race on March 3rd, followed by Stump Jump on April 21st and awarded at the final race at Harbison State Forest on April 28th.

Series Information

Welcome to the Southern Classic Series. We have developed these informational pages to help you understand how the series works. Please read carefully as changes have been made cobra spx 7800bt review. We hope to answer questions which have arisen over the years and clear up expectations.

Each event in the Southern Classic Series is a separate event put on by various promoters. Maxxis has offered each promoter prizes to be part of this series. Maxxis supports these events but are not responsible for these events. The Southern Classic Series ties all these events together. Following is information regarding USAC-MTB one-day licenses, Pay Dirt forms and administration of the program, over-all points & prizes.

USAC-MTB – The governing body is the licensing body we use for the series. Each event in the series must be a USA Cycling-MTB event and follow their rules. They provide us with insurance at a cost per racer, a race official, whom we must pay, a set of rules, professionalism, and a national network. Each racer in the Southern Classic Series MUST have a USA Cycling-MTB license in order to be “tracked” throughout the series laser radar detector whistler: It is possible to purchase a one day license the day of the race from the promoter. The cost is $5.OO. Each racer MUST sign a wavier and each minor MUST have a parent or guardian sign for them.
